When working with international clients it often falls into our hands to guide the design inspiration; either because the client cannot be present or because they want a fresh look that strays from their usual style. In this case, an affluent Indonesian family buying a second home in Los Angeles was really looking for local aesthetic, or sense of place. For this estate in the flats of Beverly Hills, sfa was inspired by the bones of the house itself, local artisans and the fashionable aesthetic of nearby Rodeo Drive.
