Group Photo of Our Team Hidalgo Construction Company, Inc., specializes in the construction of multi-million custom, luxury homes. The company’s team of knowledgeable and experienced employees has an extensive and diverse project portfolio. The team, along with its qualified group of subcontractors, brings wealth of knowledge to every project, enabling them to give the client and design team valuable input and to quickly respond to issues and resolve problems. Their specialized attention to detail has become a trait that separates us from other builders in South Florida. With a client list that includes high-profile and corporate leaders and executives, Hidalgo has mastered the skill that is required to execute a home with very specialized finishes, materials and methods/means of construction. Hidalgo’s luxury homes have been featured in exclusive trade publications like Architectural Digest, Veranda, Metropolitan Home, Florida Architecture, and Florida Design. Hidalgo has also been the recipient of awards like “Custom Homebuilder of the Year” on two separate occasions.
Hidalgo Construction Company President, Oscar Hidalgo, takes great pride in overseeing the quality of all of his homes. Oscar obtained a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami in 1986. He also obtained his State of Florida, State General Contractors license in 1984. In College he began to work for a local Custom Homebuilder and later went on his own to form Hidalgo Construction in 1989. With his strong Architectural background, Oscar pursued the luxury home market and aspired to become a sought-after specialized custom homebuilder. A sensitivity to detail along with an engaging personality allows him to build rapport and confidence with his clients. His intrinsic architectural and construction abilities create that special measure of confidence among clients who are often burdened with demands on their time elsewhere and that seek a builder who is not simply dependable but whose judgment they can trust equally with their own.
Oscar’s Architectural and Construction knowledge has allowed him to participate in community forums. He has been appointed to several City boards which relate to construction and developmental concerns. With 20 years of experience, Hidalgo Construction Company aspires to continue its reputation for building excellence.
