Our Exquisite Designs Originals rendition of the Phoenix by artist Barbara J. Taylor is painted on a 36 X 48 gallery wrap canvas. Her body and wings are constructed of layer upon layer of acrylic gel. Her embellishments are of copper and multi-colored strips of metal, twisted on her wings and body and curled on her gorgeous tail. Her nest is cinnamon bark and the flames rising from it are formed copper with coordinating colored metal imbedded in the gel flames. Four handmade crystal glass tears fall from her copper eye and thirteen genuine freshwater pearls drip from her burnished copper beak. A glowing iridescent starburst behind her completes this magnificent one-of-a-kind original piece.
