We’re no strangers to Art Deco; after all, our editorial offices are about an hour from Miami Beach, which boasts one of the largest collections of Art Deco buildings in the country. Though we love the bright pastel hues that define Collins Avenue, we’re slightly more in favor of the intense architectural detailing of landmarks like the Chrysler Building, which makes this pretty console right up our alley. While the Vitti by John Bossone for Jonathan Franc is significantly more minimalist than the Art Deco we’re used to, its seductive, curvilinear shape and vibrant bronze finish, help it capture one of the movement’s most vital features: It’s eye-catching. And we’re not the only ones who think so. Enter Miami-based designer Keith Powell: “Even thought the style leans more toward French Deco, the console is so clean that it would fit well into any interior.”
