editor's obsession: owl watch.
August 15, 2011
I know, I know. First the elephant thing, and now this, but I can’t help myself: Chopard’s Owl Watch, from the company’s Animal World collection, has me nearly transfixed, which in itself is rather impressive coming from a girl who still has nightmares about Hitchcock’s The Birds. Somehow, though, nine carats worth of diamonds set in 18-carat white and rose gold makes the prospect of wearing a feathered friend on my wrist not quite as terrifying. Shocking! Plus, it’s functional, meaning its two bejeweled eyes focus exclusively on dual time-zone monitoring and not on trapping me in a phone booth. Now the only thing I’m scared of is not snagging one for myself!
