One of our favorite things about being a magazine devoted to local design is that we get a taste of it all; what works for an art lover in Chicago probably isn’t what stokes the home fires of a hunting devotee in Colorado, and we’re grateful for that. Great design is about building a space that is exciting aesthetically, sure, but it also has to cater to the homeowners’ lifestyle—especially when that lifestyle involves plenty of antlers and deer heads. This Steamboat Springs, Colorado, home is a testament to what a talented team—Bill Rangitsch, of Steamboat Architectural Associates, and Scott Jordan, of Jordan Design Studio—can do to make even some of the most taboo decorative elements seem cool and sculptural. We love a good pair of antlers (faux, too!) here at Luxe, and we hope we’re not alone! Would you ever consider them in your own home?
