Wendell Castle is iconic for being the father of the art furniture movement, and on November 6th he turned 80 years old. Wendell’s career began back in 1961 when he taught for the School for American Craftsman and he has been changing the world of design ever since. His innovative collections have been raising the bar in the industry since the late 60’s, and to this day his pieces remain modern, relevant and hand made in America. Mr. Castle shows no signs of slowing down as he has introduced five new pieces during this anniversary year. All of us at Luxe Interiors + Design would like to congratulate Mr. Wendell Castle on all of his life achievements and would like to wish him a very happy birthday!
