Jee Levin and Randall Buck are the faces behind the wallcovering design company, Trove. Most recently the duo debuted their latest creation, Chroma, at the ICFF. The Chroma pattern is a non-sequitor continuum of colors that flash one after another to create a strand of DNA. What is so crazy is that each blur of color you see, is actually an individual photograph that has been “pushed” so far that you can no longer tell any design or original content!

“The photographs were taken in Midtown Manhattan, near Trove's new headquarters. Randall Buck and Jee Levin snapped the subjects in motion on the streets of New York City at the busiest times of the workday. Trove also experimented with the impact of their own motion and velocity while photographing to play with the level of abstraction. The concept of transforming an image of a person into a representation of DNA or Life is the substance of Chroma.”

Even more fabulous than the creativity behind Chrome, is that all of Trove’s wall coverings are printed using only the best eco-friendly and recyclable products!
