meet up: pop-up color tour, iii. March 28, 2012 PHOTOGRAPHY BY DAVID O. MARLOW Anticipating all the inspiration to come from Caesarstone’s Pop-Up Color Tour, has given us the power to say sayonara to the mid-week slump by borrowing a boost from a radiant shade that makes us feel sunny and bright: yellow. The fresh, lemony walls of this foyer instantly set the mood for a cheerful space. Designed by New York-based interior designer Robert Passal, the sunny shade is complemented by several striking accents, such as a gold-leafed wall sculpture by South African artist Brett Murray and a duo of blackamoor sculptures perched on Lucite bases. This Gramercy Park apartment is exactly what the doctor ordered, injecting our Wednesday with a dose of digital, design vitamin D.
