editor's obsession: off pitcher + cup.

I’m almost ready to give up sugary soft drinks for good. It’s not because I’ve finally decided to take some of my New Year's resolutions seriously or because of the scary effects of all that high-fructose corn syrup, it’s just because drinking water has finally became a bit more fun for me, thanks to these brightly colored carafes from Branch Home. Available in happy tones of strawberry, apricot, fuchsia and gold, they’re as good for improving my mood as they are for the health of the environment. Designed by Justin Parker and Andi Kovel, of Esque Studio in Portland, each carafe is forged out of recycled glass processed in an electric furnace powered by wind energy to minimize its carbon footprint for a one-of-a-kind product that’s as guilt-free as what I’ve been putting in it!
