Something exciting occurred this past weekend; something I look forward to all year. October happened. The weather has cooled almost overnight, pumpkin everything is available in just about any store and the idea of curling up in a cozy nook next to a crackling fire with a good book (or Netflix) is all I can think about. So, it’s no surprise that this warm, inviting home designed by Lisa Wolfe in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood summons me to lounge around on a languid fall day. Revamped for a fast-paced bachelor, the two bedroom condo—the bones of the building housed a school in the late 19th century—features the perfect balance of rich wooden finishes, antique and eclectic furnishings, and 10-foot-high windows that flood the home with sunlight. As Wolfe put it, this airy, yet intimate condo has a “gorgeous hotel-in-the-country feel,” and we couldn’t agree more.
